ROBERT A. BENTZ, PARTNER

Robert Bentz, Licensed Landscape Architect, General Contractor, Certified Planner, Founding Member  Bob is a founding partner of Atlantic Land, and has been developing residential and commercial real estate projects for more than 20 years. With a background in Landscape Architecture, Planning and Development he is involved with the management, administration and project development aspects of the company.

Bob and his partners have secured a niche in the industry overcoming difficult entitlement and government regulatory hurdles that clear the way for successful development.  Using their collaborative skills they have meet with success working with regulatory agencies, local interest groups and others to build projects that have been well received.  Bob also has experience in the design of large scale mixed-use developments, Planned Unit Developments, regional shopping malls, commercial centers, hotels, and industrial parks.

Bob gained his extensive experience of land use approval processes, having founded the land planning consulting firm Land Design South, in 1985.  Land Design South was sold and successfully transitioned to new ownership in August, 2014.  Bob is now pleased to be working in a field where he can utilize all of his many skills learned throughout the years.

 Originally from Miami, Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and a Master's degree from Louisiana State University.
